解説

標石要素が参照版中にはないテキスト部分の始点を示す場合、属性 unitには，特別な値absentが付与されるか もしれない。一般的な解釈では，等が版に対応する次の要素 milestoneが出現するまで、当該参照版はテキストを含まな い。

ここに挙げた属性値以外にも適切なものはあるだろう(例えば、プラ トンの作品を表すステファヌス番号を示す値Stephanus など。
