        <p>This document exercises various features of the TEI Lite dtd. Nothing in
      it is mandatory, but very little of it is mendacious. Even the
    bits in non-English, like <foreign>Entführung Aus Dem Serail</foreign> </p>
    <p>This is a second paragraph, just to show that paragraphs are not all
      indented to the same extent.</p>
    <p>Let's start with various phrase level elements. </p>

    <p>The <gi>hi</gi> element is used for various forms of highlighting: e.g.

      caps</hi>. You can do what you like when <hi>no rend value</hi> is supplied.
